Founded by Chairman of Villa Group Mr. Qasim Ibrahim, Villa College was established on 17th October 2007. Since its humble beginning, Villa College is determined to remain as the best private education provider in the country. Villa College's emphasis on high quality facilities, first-class infrastructure and outstanding teaching faculty will enable us to be the most preferred education provider in Maldives. As of today student population is drawn from a variety of backgrounds from all parts of the country as well as world-wide.

Currently, the Villa College has three faculties:

• Faculty of Marine Science & Water Sports
• Faculty of Tourism & Hotel Management
• Faculty of Computing & Information Technology
